okay, so the concert was amazing. liz picked me up yesterday afternoon with rachel in tow, then we all went all the way to lincoln (hah, rhode islanders...) to pick up her cousin katie. then it was back a la casa de tash to quickly see joe before futbol (americano) practice, and jonathan! (aka the baby... he's 3 years old though) then lizs grandparents came over, i've met them before- so kind. and jonathan wanted to play guess who, hangman, and chess (playing chess was my favorite- you just try to stick the pieces on all of your fingers- he won that one... it's harder when your pinky finger is much bigger than his thumb). then we popped in beauty and the beast!!!!! seriously, my all time favorite movie. recited all the lines. we didn't get to watch all of it before aunt gin (jon's mom, mrs. tash's sis) i've met her many a time, twas good to see her. then mr. tash comes in for 5 seconds, breezes out armed with 8975891 gallons of gatorade for the football practice, jon and aunt gin leave, we chow down, mr. tash is back, we leave at 533 for the tweeter center. get suck in major traffic, dont even get there until just before 8!!! redonkulus!!! tshirts were purchased, opening band missed (which we hear sucked, surprise surprise...), seats located (section 9, row f, #1-4).
counting crows came on first. they were great. played rain king (and it rained!!! score!!!), hangin around, mr jones, around here, ahh a bunch of others that i cant think of right now. adam had an inverse mullet, as usual (long in the front, short in the back) the guys in front of us were so drunk/homosexual. (/=and) then... then... john took the stage.

i mean, i like him as much as the next person, and, sure, i was looking forward to this concert. but he's no jakob dylan or dave. so i wasnt as excited as in the past. but oh my god. he was amazing. guys with guitars always do that. amaze me, that is. he played so excellently, great riffs, hot voice, beautiful eyes... and those high notes? be still my beating heart. well anyways, here's the set list.
