100th entry!

hey so i got the job at kb toys! jolly!

school was fine, had my first analysis test, it went well [enough]. after school i had another interview at the rugged bear (a children's clothing store) in garden city. so i got that job too. im thinking ill be working there because there will be way too many wild kids at kb, and also the rugged bear is way more flexible on my hours, which is good since i've got pep band at least twice a week, debate once, and the SAT prep class once, in addition to private guitar lessons, not to mention mock trial (starting soon hopefully!) and also volleyball 5 days a week in the spring. plus, you know... 6 classes worth of homework. yeah. flexible hours are necessary.

ecology meeting went well yesterday, very stoked about saving the environment!

after my interview, i did a lil bit o homework (just a little bit, though!) and then it was off the the much-anticipated trip to guitar center!!! ohhh mannnn!! dan b. and i met up there, and he brought tom f., rule of ten's bassist player (nationally ranked or something like that...) i got there a little bit before them and tried out some schecters, gibsons, and fenders. the other day my favorite was the american strat, but i didnt want to buy it right away. i needed time to sleep on it (heh, sidenote: im an insomniac lol). i drilled the guy working there on differences between the american made and mexican made (besides the obvious 550 price difference). then, dan came by and helped me out and basically he and tom reinforced all the facts about the american strats and why they're so much better yadda yadda yadda. about an hour later, i walked out with a brandy new fire engine red american strat. the most money i've ever spent on anything, but so worth every cent (in fact, in a decade, itll be worth more than what i bought it for today- what an investment!!!) now, onto amps

it's beautiful (and needs a name!!!)

i have 2 tests tomorrow- religion and ap history. also mucho tarea para la clase de quimica. all night my fingers have been positively itching to play.

thus, i am off.....
ps i take requests :)

That is one cool-looking guitar! I always wanted to learn how to play, but I never did. Have fun with it-as for a name for it, I have no clue!
