i'm here, i'm here
just been super busy- i wont bother to bore you with details of chem labs, analysis tests, spanish pruebas, history essays, english vocab tests, intriguing religion homework, sat prep courses, ecology club, student council, and tutoring meetings, pep band, or work.
so besides those things, i havent had time in the past two days to do anything but breathe.
highlight of my day today: danny with ink in his mouth in history class "uhhh mituhhh c??? uh guht sohm inkh inh muh mouf... cah uh guh wah it ouh?" (say it with your mouth open and no tongue, with ink slowly spreading out the corners of your mouth.) good times, good times.
monday was good- packed but good. my sat prep class is going well. i'm not really leanring anything new, though. just tips and tricks on how the sat is made, and what to look out for. i have it from 530-10 every monday. 530-730 is math. there are about 30 kids in my class. it flew by. then we break for a half hour (motta scorp kelscorcho and i went to the npc for awful awfuls yummmmm) then i have english from 8-10. everyone goes crazy about that time. most people (including myself) havent been home since 730 (or earlier!) in the morning. i force myself to pay attention because- well- i'm paying for it right? but a lot of kids dont even bother listening. the guy (harvard grad, 1540 score) that teaches it is cute- er, nice- so it's too bad that kids are on their cell phones while he's trying to help us. he actually thanked me for paying attention after the class was over. patty and i then picked up coffees (i dont even like coffee! but i haaaaaad to-- 3+ hours of homework to go home to!!) and i ate dinner when i got home.
tuesday... i went on with 2.5 hours of sleep. chem test per c, then analysis test d. chem was wicked hard, i wasnt focusing well for ana. very tired after school, pep band. haj tried to teach the rhythm section a new tune- earth wind and fire. too bad i suck. at this point, my brain was friiiiiiied. it took me so long; i felt bad for nick and corey. went home around 430, was at work for 457. my first day! it went well. i like the people i work with; they seem nice. and my boss is super. she was so understanding when i mentioned my homecoming was the 4th and hendrickens is the 11th, plus josh's christening on the 5th. she said she wouldnt schedule me at those times. how nice is that??? we closed shop at 9, i came home, ate, homeworked until 12. allowed myself to sleep in (630!) this morning and just finished up that which had not been previously completed in the car and in study.
so there you have it. the life of me.
you can see why i havent written much- not really a lot of interesting stuff going on. lo siento
