today was perfect! the weather was excellent, not too bad a day for classes, last period study was spent jammin on la guitarra, followed by a pep band session. i think we sound really good. i need to work on holding up my end of the rhythm section, and believe me- i'm working on it.
sorry i've been relatively quiet the past few days- school's just been really busy- in fact, this is the first night in weeks that i dont have to actually be somewhere, doing something. yesterday was nuts- i was at school by 730 for a student council meeting that manifested itself merely in my mind, then classes, then debate, then thayer with motta and his friend zach. we grabbed some pizza at antonios, then they went skating and i just hung around the brown campus and started on some tarea. then it was back to school for a 4 and a half hour SAT prep course. ugh. luckily, my analysis teacher is doing the math portion of the class, and a [cute] harvard grad does the english. it was rough- we got out a little bit before 10. then patty and i stopped for coffee because i desperately needed it.
now let me preface this by saying that i have never ever had coffee. like, sure... i've had some, but never my own- always just taking a small sip of someone elses. i dont like coffee, it makes breath smell badly, and also it feels weird to me. pass me some chai anyday over java. but i needed some caffeine- and man- did i get it! i was up until 3 this morning. that's redonkulus! but it was also wicked good- i got to write english and history essays, start some chem hw due tomorrow, study for religion, go over some analysis, plus practice guitar (unplugged) for a good hour or so, and finished upgirl, interrupted.
